Join us for an evening art showcase celebrating 250 years of Sri. Mutthuswami Dikshitar (1776-1835). Dikshitar, a prolific South Indian Classical Music Composer, was also a Veena player and the youngest member of the Trinity of Carnatic Music alongside Tyagaraja (1767-1847) and Syama Sastri (1762-1827). Dhvani presents a collaborative art programme with demonstrations of select musical compositions of Dikshitar through music, painting, and dance. Seating starts at 3:30pm.
